My story

Hello, I’m Alexia Ring.

So many of us discover our own neurodivergence through our children, and the same was true with me.

After building a high-pressure career in finance, working in the city of London, I took a break to become a full-time mum to my three girls. It was only when my eldest daughter was assessed and diagnosed with ADHD aged 21 that it hit me – I had it too.

It explained a lot.

Like many women, I found my coping mechanisms abandoned me when I reached perimenopause. Strategies that had worked for me in the past suddenly weren’t enough – and the issues, challenges and frustrations hit me hard.

My ADHD diagnosis was the start of a journey towards self-compassion and acceptance.

I developed a thirst for knowledge about the condition that led me to take stock of my life, and decided to retrain as an ADHD coach. I completed my training at the world-renowned ADD Coach Academy (ADDCA) in the US – where I also trained as a family and child ADHD coach – and have since completed over 200 hours of ICF (International Coaching Federation) approved training.

Today, I use my experience as a late-diagnosed woman and parent of two neurodivergent children to help people just like you thrive with ADHD.

I offer practical, tailored ADHD coaching through weekly, 50-minute, one-to-one sessions that take place online or in person, at my home in north London. Sessions can be funded through Access to Work, if you’ve been awarded support.
